DanceZone Class Descriptions:

 
Baby Class
(Ages 2)
A fun, creative movement class for the tiny little dancer. Introduce your little one to the pretty tutu’s and ballet shoes, and the sweet sounds of their little tap shoes….singing , dancing and dress up, how adorable! A ½ hour class for the 2 year olds.
 
HipHop & Flip (HipHop Dance/Gym combo)
(Ages 2 - 5)
Introduction to dance through expressive movement and songs with
introduction to gymnastics.
 
Shake, Rattle & Roll (Dance/Gym Combo)
(Ages 2-5)
Introduction to dance through expressive movement & song with 30 minutes
of Dance and 30 minutes of Gymnastics.
 
Preschool Ballet & Tap
(Ages 3 – 5)
A beginner basic class for the brand new little dancer. This class is designed to introduce the basics of ballet and tap with fun sing-a-long songs and play. A 45 minute class, 20 minutes of ballet/20 minutes of tap/5 minutes of FUN dance.
 
Zumba Dance Preschool
(Ages 3 – 5)
Zumba for kids where the rhythm is gonna gethcha!!! This 45 minutes fun filled class for 3 – 5 year old to learn how to exercise and dance at the same time. The energetic kid-friendly latin style music keeps the kids movin’ and groovin’!!! We’ll wrap up each class with a “free dance” where kids will express themselves through their favorite dance moves from that days class.
 
Dancing Stars I Ballet/Tap/Jazzy Hiphop
An introduction to the world of Dancing Stars! This class is designed for the young dancer and is also a basic beginner class focusing on ballet, tap and a bit of jazzy hiphop. Get those dancing shoes on and get ready for a lot of fun. A 60 minute class. 20 minutes of ballet/10 minutes of tap/30 minutes of jazzy hiphop.
 
Dancing Stars II Ballet/Tap/Jazzy Hiphop
This class is designed for the young dancer at the beginner/intermediate level with basic knowledge of basic ballet and tap steps. The jazzy hiphop portion of the class will be lots of fun too. Already considered a Dancing Star, your young dancer will be sure to shine bright! An hour and 15 minute class. 30 minutes of ballet/30minutes of jazzy hiphop/15 minutes of tap.
 
Dancing Stars III Ballet/Tap/Jazzy Hiphop
Considered the “Senior” Dancing Stars, this young dancer loves to dance. This class is designed for the young dancer at the intermediate level with good knowledge of basic ballet, tap and jaz steps. As we start to introduce new dance steps, and combinations we keep it upbeat and fun! An hour and 15 minute class. 30 minutes of ballet-lyrical/30 minutes of jazzy hiphop/15 minutes of tap.
 
Teen I Ballet/Tap/Hiphop
This class is designed for the dancer with beginner/intermediate dancing skills. The teen dancer is sure to love the combination of ballet-lyrical, tap and hiphop, three great styles of dance in one great class.! Learn new dance routines, like the ones in music videos! A full hour of fun dancing with your friends! An hour and 15 minute class. 30 minutes of ballet- lyrical/30 minutes of jazzy hiphop/15 minutes of tap.
 
Teen II Ballet/Tap/Hiphop
Following suit with Teen I Class, this Teen II class is the next level up. Considered an intermediate/advanced class, you will continue to learn and master dance positions, steps and fun routines. Ballet and Lyrical being the core of all dance types, Tap bringing out the rhythm in a dancer and Hiphop being upbeat and fun. This class will bring out the dancer in you! An hour and 15 minute class. 30 minutes of ballet-lyrical/30 minutes of jazzy hiphop/15 minutes of tap.
 
Adult Tap
A fun filled class that is sure to break a sweat! This class is a beginner/intermediate tap class designed for someone who had never put on a pair of tap shoes to the tap dancer looking to have fun! You will learn basic tap steps and combinations, a great workout by the way, all while having fun with friends! Who knows, maybe we’ll even put together a routine for our annual
dance recital, you never know. A 45 minute class.
 

Adult Zumba

The fitness craze that is taking the world by storm! Zumba fitness is all about having FUN!!! This hour long class is jam packed with upbeat basic dance steps inspired by Latin rhythms. The routine features interval training sessions where fast and slow rhythms and resistance training are combined to tone and sculpt your body while burning fat….It’s all about bringing FUN back into your workout. Come and get hooked on ZUMBA!!!
